The Sacred Principle

Sand Scarab is a browser-only game. Every calculation — every leap of the scarab, every scorpion that crosses your path, every gem you collect — happens entirely within your own device's browser. No data is ever sent outward to any server we control or have access to.

Local Scrolls (Storage)

To remember your finest run between visits, Sand Scarab places a single number into your browser's local storage. Think of it as an inscription only you can read — we have no access to it. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this page.

Tracking Tablets

There are none. Sand Scarab places no cookies, tracking scripts, analytics beacons, or advertising identifiers in your browser. We do not know who visits, how long they play, or what scores they achieve.

The Fonts of Google

The typefaces used to render Sand Scarab's interface are loaded from Google Fonts, a public content delivery network. This causes your browser to contact Google's servers, which may log your IP address under Google's own privacy terms. We receive nothing from this interaction and cannot influence what Google does with standard CDN logs.
